چکیده
Background: In the production of instant pepper powder, some manufacturers add adulterants to powder. Objective: This study aimed detect presence corn added in white products market. Method: The TLC Fingerprint analysis was used. Fingerprints were made using from three regions Indonesia: Tasikmalaya, Kalimantan, and Bangka. used as adulterant came West Java, Central Kalimantan. Extraction carried out maceration method, where 96% ethanol solvent. patterns visualised under UV light at 254 nm 366 nm. Chromatogram performed. Result: Loading PC-2 against PC-1 PCA with an eigen value 931.54 indicated loading score clustered quadrants 2 3, while that 1 4. Discussion:The sample projection on system showed samples A C are distributed between 1-2 3-4, B is quadrant 2. Conclusion: Based results PC-1, contained adulterants, other adulterants.

P.nigrum fruits are also used to produce white...
متن کاملKey Microbiota Identification Using Functional Gene Analysis during Pepper (Piper nigrum L.) Peeling
Pepper pericarp microbiota plays an important role in the pepper peeling process for the production of white pepper. We collected pepper samples at different peeling time points from Hainan Province, China, and used a metagenomic approach to identify changes in the pericarp microbiota based on functional gene analysis. UniFrac distance-based principal coordinates analysis revealed significant c...
متن کاملDetection of Aflatoxins in Peanut Oils Marketed in Peshawar, Pakistan Using Thin Layer Chromatography
Background: Aflatoxins (AFs) are natural toxins produced by fungus belonging to genus Aspergillus. These toxins are the secondary metabolites, which may cause teratogenic, mutagenic, and carcinogenic effects due to contamination of food. Peanut is an economically important crop, grown in many parts of the world. The main aim of this survey was to detect AFs in peanut oils marketed in Peshawar, ...

NilEDICATIONS are one of the leading causes of fatal and nonfatal poisonings. Of all medications, salicylates (in children) and barbiturates (in adults) are most frequently involved in these poisonings. When these occur, the physician treating the victim may request a chemical analysis of a blood sample to confirm his clinical impression. A salicylate analysis is simple and rapid (1). However, ...
